Recommended with the addition of a window, or as a longer-lasting solution to replace your exterior horsehair ropes, a circling strap and ratchet can be installed around the exterior of the yurt walls. You will need two ratchets for 7-Wall and larger yurts. NOTE: If the strap and ratchet is used to replace a horse hair rope and you have a window (or second door) or more you might need more than one ratchet.
