Our main warehouse is located in Alexandria, ON, an hour west of Montreal, QC. We receive regular shipments here from Mongolia throughout the year. Alternative options to the Delivery Tour include, Shipping Via Third Party Carrier, Direct Delivery (within local area), and Pick-Up at our warehouse. Please see more information below.
You are always welcome to come directly to our Groovy Farm in Alexandria, Ontario to pick up your yurt, yurt parts, or furniture.
Our pick-up hours are Monday-Friday from 9:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
An appointment is required for all order pick-ups and farm tours. If you are picking up your yurt or a large parts order at our warehouse, ask us about the space requirements to transport your order.
Shipping via Third Party
We offer shipping for both parcel shipments (under 70lbs) and larger crate/pallet shipments throughout North America and to many international destinations. Shipping is NOT the Delivery Tour. When shipping is your option, we crate your yurt and ship it directly to you or to the warehouse terminal closest to you. We tender out your shipment for the best price. Depending on the size of the yurt, you may need to have a forklift available on site to offload the crate(s) from the delivery vehicle. We will confirm whether this is the case prior to shipping. In today’s economy the cost for shipping a yurt is often up to three times the cost of the delivery tour.
We have a representative in Switzerland who can help with shipments within Europe and overseas. Shipping a single yurt overseas can be extremely costly. It is most cost-effective to consider orders of eight (8) or more yurts when shipping overseas. In this case, we can usually arrange significant shipping discounts (for larger orders) to the local harbor.

Upon receipt of full payment, we will proceed with the packaging of your order.
While we make every effort to process your order promptly, depending on the demand at the time of payment, and your order details, it can take an average of 3 to 14 days for your order to be processed before shipping.
Once your order has been shipped, you will receive an email from us with the tracking information. We highly recommend tracking the shipment daily so that you can be ready for the arrival of your order.
All parcel and crate shipments are booked via a third-party carrier. While we can usually provide an estimated transit time, for various reasons, shipments can be delayed.
Crate and Pallet Shipments: For larger orders, up to 96" in length, we will book a curb-side , lift-gate delivery for you. If the order exceeds these dimensions, you will either need to have extra hands present to support the load as it is lowered off of the delivery truck, or you will need to have a forklift on site to offload. We will notify you of which option applies to your shipment.
If you notice any damage upon the receipt of your order, please take pictures, make a note on the Bill of Lading and contact us immediately by phone: 1-888-476-6899.
Should you decide to return your order, please contact Selina at 1-888-476-6899. Orders will be refunded on a case-by-case basis. If your order is returned in good condition, we will usually refund the order minus the initial and return shipping costs.
